This guide is the fastest and cheapest way that I've found to level Tailoring and raise your secondaries for salvaging.
Tailoring Level 1 - 525
Leather Gloves, Boots and Sleeves over and over until the magic number 525
Tailoring Level 525 - LGM
Thick Woven Gloves, Boots and Sleeves.
Yes your leatherworking will fall behind, but your chance to skill up tailoring on Thick Woven is just higher. So in the end you're going to spend less money. We'll worry about leatherworking later. There were times towards the very end that I started making leather boots/gloves again because sleeves were taking so long to craft. Around 1000 or so it's faster to craft some leather gloves/boots, but in the long run cheaper to stay with the thick woven sleeves, they just take a long time to craft. Up to you, by that time you'll be able to decide for yourself.
Secondaries (DO NOT DO THESE OUT OF ORDER)
It's very important to level your secondaries correctly. If you don't you're going to spend a ton of extra time and money.
Metal and Woodworking Level 1 - 400
Make trinkets to at least level 400 first. Make hinges or jewelry boxes (doesn't matter) to level metal working and make toy swords and whatever else (doesn't matter) to level woodworking. You can even take this to 500ish if you want. it's cheap and reasonably fast.
Metal and Woodworking Level 400/500 - 900/1000
At this point open your fletching menu and make arrows until your fletching is level 500/520, level them until arrows turn grey. They're cheap and super fast and they level Wood and metal simultaneously. This should get you to 900/1000ish Wood and Metal working.
Leather, Metal and Woodworking Level 900-1000+
Open your weaponcrafting menu and make any and all swords that you can make. They will level leather, wood and metal all at the same time. Super fast and super cheap. Shields are even faster and cheaper.
