Caster

I'm planning on creating a caster. Since my playtime varies and i end up solo'ing alot, what class do you suggest? I'm trying to find a class with a happy medium of solo-ability, and groupability for later end game rvr/pve.

from what ive seen

animist = good solo ability, may get groups lower level , higher gets more difficult and not really sought after in 50 rvr

chanter = good solo ability, bg groups, but how about after 50?

eld = not sure how they solo, can find groups after 50

ment = i have no idea

Suggestions for class, race and spec would be appreciated.

Race = Luri if you plan on doing any RvR.

Mana Ments get groups all the time since HOT and crack are highly desired for both casters and melee. I have heard that most ments go Mana to 40, then switch to light and solo to 50. My ment is 47 and still mana, so I can't comment about groups post-40.

Mana ment luri is your best bet. You can solo with them, you can group with them, you can duo with about any class and be helpful. Plus, they are a bunch of fun to play. Eldritches suck to solo no matter how you spec them. Enchanters can solo, but you really need to duo with a healer to get the best out of them. AND, mana ments are also desired for raids and such. That's my 2 cents anyhow!
