Personally I would drop 7 heat from the helmet to get +7 energy as thanes are a bigger threat in 1v1 than fire wizards.

I’m by no means a NS expert. But I’ve only seen a couple Thanes in the BGs. Never seen them in RvR. I think they’re like Elf Champions.

Disregard the above templates.. They were made in the newer Loki, and the values are incorrect.. Here is my new template.
Note.. I used an MP main hand, and have 3 99q main hand weapons right now for swapping. The 4 stealth was changed to 2 CD, and the STR was dropped a couple points as it was over-capped.. so you end up with 72/75 if you swap. A non issue IMHO.. The jewelry etc is pretty easy to get, or fairly inexpensive aside from paying MP prices on the armor..

Hmmm this is looking pretty good. Could keep that MP main hand in your 2 handed slot and switch to your right handed 99%. Then drop your 99% to weapon swap I like it.
What your reasoning behind Heat > Energy?

I really don't see much energy damage outside of Hibernia to worry about it. Plus I get a +5% racial to energy. I had to skimp somewhere.. so that's where I did it.. As far as Thanes... just like any tank.. if they slam you.. you are probably dead anyway.
I do keep the MP in 2H slot.. Hit with perf and stunning stab.. then swap for CD. I use enervating on main hand.. disease on off hand.. then the 1st swap go to Lifebane..
I keep an extra lifebane weapon, and an extra disease weapon... until I can afford to do more.. then I will run with 4 or 5 Lifebane weapons..

Just purge if you get slammed no? why 4 or 5 lifebane weapons? do the poisons stack? I'm pretty dumb when it comes to NS weapon swapping... I would think you'd want an extra Envervating weapon too in case they purge your stun/poisons?
